In March, 2017, I began working as a hostess at Bridges Restaurant, a waterfront seafood restaurant primarily frequented by tourists on Granville Island. I am returning to Bridges this April, with increased responsibilities.
Something I am really interested in is stories - specifically why some people's stories get told and others don't. In a project I did for my contemporary art class in 2018, I explored this idea using a pile of old books and a bandsaw.
